LARAC’s Lapham Gallery hosts seven exhibitions a year featuring local, regional, and national artistic talent working in a variety of different mediums and artistic genres. Our exhibitions are scheduled from January to October, with each exhibition on view for 4 weeks. Five out of our seven exhibitions feature selected artists. Every year, we host one themed Juried exhibition, as well as one Members only exhibition. Every other year we also host an Intercollegiate Art Competition which contains work from students within a 120 mile radius of LARAC. In November and December, we host our annual holiday shop which contains handcrafted gifts from regional artists.
We are located on the first floor of our renovated carriage house in historic Downtown Glens Falls. The building is directly next to beautiful Downtown City Park, the center of activity in the City. Lapham Gallery is almost 1900 square feet of stunning gallery space with just the right amount of architectural detail, painted white. First-time visitors to Lapham Gallery are always in awe of its elegance and versatility.

Workshops & Programs
LARAC has developed an active workshop schedule that has something for everyone. Check out the workshop schedule often, as new and inspiring workshops are being added all of the time. Please note that starting in April 2024, all workshops will take place in LARAC’s main location, Lapham Gallery, 7 Lapham Place, Glens Falls, NY.
In addition to a robust workshop schedule for artists and art lovers of all abilities, LARAC offers a variety of programs throughout the year for artists in various stages of their practice and careers, such as professional and peer art critiques, business of art presentations, artist talks, sessions on how to apply to online shows, and much more.

Call To Artists
LARAC encourages any artist to apply to exhibit in the LARAC Lapham Gallery and/or space to sell your artwork in our gift shop. Works are sold on commission. The juried application process is ongoing with no deadline.
